The Deployment Gap

Same AI. Opposite outcomes.

The technology isn’t the variable. Two companies buy the same models — one deploys them into the actual work and prints money, the other runs a pilot that quietly dies. The difference is the deployment layer. Flip the switch and watch the headlines change.

95%

of enterprise AI pilots return nothing. It’s not a model problem — it’s a deployment problem. Off-the-shelf tools never learn how the business actually runs, so they stall before they ever touch revenue.

67%

succeed when AI is deployed by a specialized partner — roughly triple the success rate of a do-it-yourself build. That partner, embedded in your operation until the system pays for itself, is exactly what FTR42 is.

MIT NANDA▼ Zero return

95% of enterprise GenAI pilots deliver no measurable return.

$30–40B spent. MIT’s verdict: the divide is approach and integration, not model quality.

State of AI in Business 2025 ↗
S&P Global▼ Abandoned

42% of companies scrapped most AI projects in 2025 — up from 17%.

The average organization killed 46% of its AI proof-of-concepts before they ever reached production.

Voice of the Enterprise ↗
Gartner▼ Canceled

Over 40% of agentic AI projects will be canceled by 2027.

Escalating cost, unclear value, no real path to production. Hype without deployment doesn’t survive.

Gartner forecast ↗
MIT NANDA▼ Falls short

DIY AI builds succeed one-third as often as bringing in a partner.

The data is blunt: deployment expertise is the dividing line between the 5% who win and the 95% who don’t.

State of AI in Business 2025 ↗
Klarna × OpenAI▲ ~$40M profit

AI deployed into support does the work of 700 full-time agents.

Two-thirds of all chats handled, resolution time cut from 11 min to under 2, and an estimated ~$40M profit lift in year one.

OpenAI case study ↗
Morgan Stanley × OpenAI▲ 98% adoption

98% of advisor teams run on a deployed GPT-4 assistant.

Wired into the real workflow, advisors went from reaching ~20% of the firm’s knowledge to instant answers across 100,000+ research documents.

OpenAI case study ↗
Lumen × Microsoft▲ $50M / year

AI copilot deployed to 3,000+ sellers saves ~$50M a year.

Prospect research that used to take four hours now takes fifteen minutes — ~4 hours a week returned per seller and reinvested into customers.

JPMorgan▲ $1.5B+ value

AI deployed across the bank now targets $1.5B+ in value.

Fraud detection, KYC, cash-flow analysis, and coding — AI wired into the core operation, not a sandbox, and the payoff keeps climbing.

Who This Is For

Which one are you?

AI-Curious

You know you need AI but don’t know how.

You’ve read the headlines. You’ve watched competitors integrate AI into their operations. The pressure is on. You just don’t know what to build first, which tools to trust, or how to wire any of it into how your business actually runs day-to-day.

Idea-Rich

You have the ideas but can’t ship them.

You see exactly what should exist. You can sketch the workflow, describe the agent, map the pipeline. You just don’t have the engineering bandwidth, the team, or the time to actually ship it yourself. Freelancers keep over-promising and under-delivering.

Time-Poor

You’d build it yourself if you had the time.

You understand what your business needs. AI here. Automation there. A real marketing engine. You’d build it yourself if you weren’t already running ops, closing deals, hiring, and putting out fires. You need someone whose full-time job is making this happen.

Marketing-First

You just need marketing that works.

Skip the AI talk. You need leads. You need ad copy that doesn’t sound like a robot wrote it. You need someone running the whole acquisition engine while you focus on closing deals. We do that too.

Engagement

How We Work Together

One consulting-and-deployment retainer that runs your AI, ads, and ops end-to-end — and when a build is worth selling beyond your walls, a partnership on the upside. Month-to-month, cancel anytime.

Plus weekly tech-stack upgrades baked into the retainer. The latest AI tools deployed as they ship. Last quarter’s stack is obsolete. Yours won’t be.

Partnership · Build-to-Own

When we build something bigger than your business, we build it together.

Sometimes a system we ship inside your company turns out to be sellable far beyond it — an app, an agent, an automation other businesses like yours would pay for. When that happens we don’t hand you an invoice and walk. We productize it together: we own and run the product, you take a stake in everything it earns. Your first build becomes a second revenue stream. That’s the difference between a vendor who disappears and an engineer embedded in your upside.

Equity · Royalty · Rev-Share

Scoped per build. Invoked only when what we make is genuinely worth selling. Sits on top of the retainer — never instead of it.

Questions

Everything You're Wondering

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No. We work month-to-month. If we're not delivering, you're not locked in. No penalty, no fine print. We keep clients by performing, not by contract.

How fast do results happen?

Most clients see qualified leads within the first 2 weeks. The first 30–60 days are the learning phase where we test, collect data, and optimize. By month 3, you have a dialed-in, repeatable system.

What does the retainer actually cover?

Everything an in-house AI + ops team would: strategy roadmaps, custom AI agent and automation development, brand strategy, website design, ad creative and management, CRM configuration, and the workflows that tie it all together. You approve, we build and run it. If you also want us closing the leads, add the sales engagement on top.

How does the sales revenue share work?

If you want us running lead follow-up and sales conversion (calls, SMS, email, AI-assisted), we take a share of the revenue we generate, billed monthly against closed-won deals. The exact terms are scoped on the strategy call based on average deal size, sales-cycle length, and how much of the close motion we own end-to-end. No closes, no fee. Stacks on top of the retainer.

What does the “AI” part actually mean? Will it replace my team?

Not chatbots and not hype. We build custom agents and automations that do specific jobs your team is doing manually right now: lead qualification, follow-up sequences, content generation, ad iteration, reporting, CRM hygiene. Your team supervises and steps in for judgment calls; the agent does the rest. We’ve never built a system that fired anyone. We build systems that pull people up to the work AI can’t do.
